The Multitap product guide.

Multitap runs a sim racing venue. It starts and times sessions on every simulator, launches the games, records every lap, keeps the leaderboards and TVs current, emails your customers, posts to your Discord, takes bookings from your website, and runs your leagues. This guide walks through all of it, one screen at a time, and says exactly what each button does.

How the pieces fit

A lap on a rig travels like this. The in-game app records it and sends it to your venue. Your venue stores it, updates the leaderboards and the TVs, checks whether it was a record or a personal best, and if so tells the driver by email, tells your Discord, and, if you have joined, sends it to the global board. Staff see it in the Dashboard's activity feed within seconds. None of that needs anyone to do anything.

Reading this guide

Chapters follow the admin panel's sidebar, so if you are looking at a page in the panel, the chapter with the same name explains it. On-screen labels are shown the way they appear, like Launch or End Session. Paths tell you where to look, like Settings › Saved Sims. Keys on a rig's keyboard look like Shift + F4.

New venues should start with Getting started, which orders the setup. Prospective venues will get the clearest picture from Launcher, Groups and At the rig, which together cover a customer's visit from the desk to the chequered flag.
