Venues on VenueLaps Free already send their laps to the public boards on venuelaps.com. Cloud Lite adds your own boards on your own TVs.

Setting it up

  1. Buy Cloud Lite.

Sign up at account.multitap.space/account/register?plan=lite, which takes you through registration and sign-in to the purchase form with Cloud Lite chosen. Enter your venue name, the venue address that becomes your-venue.mlttp.com and your timezone, then pick Monthly, $25 a month or Yearly, $275 a year (one month free). If your venue is already on VenueLaps, paste your venue page address into Already on VenueLaps? Your venue page address, such as venuelaps.com/venue/your-venue, or just the part after /venue/. That lets your PCs move your existing VenueLaps venue over to Cloud Lite. If you leave it empty, Cloud Lite starts a new VenueLaps venue and your current venue page stops getting new laps. You can still add the address on your Cloud Lite order page before you import the setup file on your PCs. If you add it after a PC has already switched to Cloud Lite, download the setup file again and import it on each PC that still sends laps to VenueLaps, and tell us in your support channel about any PC that already switched so we can link it for you.

  2. Download the setup file.

Once paid, your Cloud Lite order page in your Multitap account offers multitap-cloud-lite-setup.json after you confirm your account password.

  3. Import it on each PC.

On every PC that runs the VenueLaps Collector, close any running game and open the collector's settings. Click Import a file from your Multitap account, choose that file, then click Save. From then on the collector sends that PC's laps to your Cloud Lite venue. A PC that was on VenueLaps Free hands its VenueLaps link over to the new venue once, when you entered your VenueLaps address at purchase. Drive a lap and check the Laps page of your venue admin.

  4. Sign in and build your boards.

On your Cloud Lite order page, press Show your admin panel password (shown once) and keep it safe. It is not your Multitap account password. Open your-venue.mlttp.com/admin and sign in with your venue ID, your email and that admin password. Create your boards on the Leaderboard page and put their display links on your TVs. The Leaderboards chapter covers every option.

The Cloud Lite admin panel

The admin panel is the same one Cloud venues use, with only the pages Cloud Lite needs. It opens on the Leaderboard page.

At the foot of the sidebar, a Cloud Lite badge shows your plan, with a Move to full Cloud link that opens your Multitap account.

Bringing in your history

Your boards don't have to start empty. The Import page reads laps from Assetto Corsa and ACC results files, an Emperor server or a CSV file from another app, and a venue linked to VenueLaps can bring its own VenueLaps laps onto its boards with one button. Imported laps show on your own boards only and are never sent to VenueLaps. The whole page is described in Importing past laps.

Moving to full Cloud

On your Cloud Lite order page in your Multitap account, Move to full Cloud lets you choose your sims and broadcast PCs. Moving up is a plan change, so your boards, laps, venue address and VenueLaps link all stay. Any unused Cloud Lite time is credited toward Cloud; we never refund it as cash. After that, the full admin panel unlocks. Your PCs keep sending laps through the VenueLaps Collector as they do today. Moving those PCs onto the Multitap launcher is not self-serve yet, so ask us in your support channel before you set up rigs.

If you stop Cloud Lite

When your Cloud Lite plan ends, your order page shows Keep your laps on VenueLaps. Press Download the VenueLaps collector file and import it in the collector on each PC, the same way you imported the setup file, so your laps keep reaching venuelaps.com for free.
