Welcome to Multitap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Multitap website, software, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Multitap ("we," "our," or "us").

01Description of Services

Multitap provides sim racing center management software. Features currently shipped include:

• TAPPED IN global server — cross-venue lap comparison and driver rankings
• Live in-venue leaderboards and per-venue public web boards
• Automated broadcasting tool with per-track camera presets
• Traffic dodging (NoHesi-style) with custom scoring and dedicated leaderboards
• Race, practice, hotlap, and custom server modes
• Discord bot integration (race results, leaderboard updates, new car/track alerts)
• Live lap editing tool
• Remote launching via web-based admin (SaaS only)
• Wheel-driven sim launcher (fullscreen client, no keyboard/mouse required)
• Game integrations — Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing leaderboards

API access is on the roadmap and not yet available.

02Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

03Deployment Models, Pricing & Billing

Multitap is offered in two deployment models. See pricing.html for the current detail.

Billing

• Self-hosted: One-time invoice upon agreement. Payment due upon invoice date.
• SaaS (when launched): Subscriptions billed monthly in advance. Payment due upon invoice date.
• We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods.
• All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

04Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Collect user data without proper consent
• Use the Services for any illegal gambling activities
• Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software

05Data and Content

Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you upload or input into our Services ("Your Data"). You grant us a license to use Your Data solely to provide and improve our Services.

Driver Data: You are responsible for ensuring you have proper consent to collect and process driver data through our platform, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

Leaderboard Data: By using our global TAPPED IN leaderboard features, you consent to driver lap times, names, and statistics being displayed publicly across the Multitap-connected venue network.

Backups: While we implement reasonable backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. Self-hosted operators are solely responsible for their on-premise backups.

06Intellectual Property

Our Rights: The Multitap name, logo, software, website, and all related materials are our exclusive property or licensed to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Services as permitted.

Feedback: If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about our Services, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Third-Party Content: Our Services may integrate with third-party games and platforms (Assetto Corsa, iRacing, etc.). These integrations are subject to the respective third-party terms and licenses.

07Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
• Emergency repairs or updates
• Factors beyond our control (internet outages, natural disasters)

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions. The self-hosted LAN deployment is designed to operate independently of our cloud infrastructure for core functionality.

08Cancellation and Termination

Self Hosted

• The self-hosted license is a one-time purchase; there is no subscription to cancel.
• You may continue using the software you have licensed indefinitely.
• Optional support add-ons may be canceled at the end of their billing period.

SaaS Subscription

• You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds for partial months or unused services.
• You may request export of your data within 30 days of cancellation.

By Us

• We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
• We may discontinue Services with 90 days notice.
• In case of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

09Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will meet all your requirements
• The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Services will be accurate
• Any errors in the software will be corrected

10Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Multitap and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your Data or content you provide through the Services

12Governing Law and Disputes

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. If negotiation fails, binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida
3. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorneys' fees

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

13Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending an email to your registered email address
• Displaying a notice in the software

Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services.

14General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Multitap regarding the Services.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15Support and Communication

Technical support is provided via email during business hours (Eastern Time). We strive to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours on business days. Self-hosted customers with an active 24/7 support add-on receive expanded coverage as described in their support agreement.

By using our Services, you consent to receive electronic communications from us regarding your account and the Services.
